Vocabulary

Tedious: adj. to long, slow, or dull; tiresome or monotonous
Ex: Watching paint dry was tedious.

Vigil: noun. a period of keeping awake during the time usually spent asleep, especially to keep watch
Ex: Hoping to catch a fish, I observed a late night vigil until sunrise.

Shrouded: verb. Wrap or dress in a shroud for burial
Ex My sister was shrouded when she was feeling sick.
